Amid the resumption of the IPL 2025, England have announced their ODI and T20I squads for their upcoming white-ball series against West Indies.
Jos Buttler, Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks and Jofra Archer have been included in the ODI squad. All these players are expected to rejoin their respective IPL squads for the remaining IPL 2025 season.
Meanwhile, Buttler, along with Phil Salt, Will Jacks and Jamie Overton, are a part of the T20I side. Previously, Harry Brook was named the new white-ball skipper for England. He will lead the side in both ODIs and T20Is against West Indies.

NOC's Granted To Players For Potential Return To IPL
Buttler is all set to link up with the Gujarat Titans as the resumption of IPL 2025 was finalised. SA pacer Gerald Coetzee is also expected to rejoin the side. Meanwhile, the ODI series will be played between May 29 -June 3. The T20I series will be played between June 6-10.
With Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bot in contention for the playoffs, the likes of Buttler and Salt become key players for their respective franchises. The IPL 2025 will resume on May 17 with the final scheduled on June 3. The revised season kicks off with RCB taking on KKR in Bengaluru on May 17.
"We're keen to support the IPL and the BCCI in getting the schedule up and running, and to facilitate players' return should they choose to go back," an ECB spokesperson said on Tuesday.
"No Objection Certificates have been granted based on the original IPL dates, so we'll need to review any potential extensions, particularly in relation to any clash with the final white-ball squad, We'll continue to work closely with the BCCI and the IPL as the situation develops," the spokesperson added.

Several England players thus need to overcome the country vs club conflict as the IPL 2025 resumes with the remaining matches to be played across six venues with Ahmedabad likely to host the IPL 2025 final.
